I DON’T RUN A NEWSPAPER OUFIT, OSHIOMHOLE

 By Inneh Barth

Contrary to insinuation, the Edo State Governor, comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has distanced himself from the Nigeria observer newspaper, saying he do not run a publishing outfit.

While answering questions from newsmen on the State of Nigerian Observer, the State own Newspaper, shortly after an interactive session with All Progressive Congress faithful in Asaba, the Delta State capital, the governor said he run a government and not a publishing outfit and said the question should be directed to the publisher.

On why he was in the APC secretariat in Asaba, the Governor said he was in Delta State to meet with the interim leadership of APC to discuss issues affecting the party, it formation and the forthcoming registration exercise.

He however, faulted the independent National Electoral Commission election time table released, saying they have some explanation to make on why it chooses to conduct presidential election first before governorship.

He explained that several elections had been conducted in the country and the Presidential had never come first noting that the election time table amounts to Climbing a tree from the top rather than from the bottom.
