Our Nigerian Agitations Vs Global Irrelevance.

Okonta Emeka Okelum, Asaba

The on-going trade of words, agitation and counter agitation in the nation is grossly un-progressive and largely not for the interest of the common man.

With the recent past months call for national schism, pulling out from the federation as well as the perceived counter threat, unleashing ultimatum upon another segment of the nation to get out of this we papa land and a half-baked cum child-like support of a complimentary support from another part of the nation with political pedigree of not keeping faith with their political woos in times of hard and trying moments, carefully one begins to ask, which way Nigeria.

As for me, these various southern call for wasting our federation and corresponding northern threat are never from what our nation needs now.

These agitations are grossly irrelevant compared to global realities.
The political reality and political fortune of Nigerians in recent British elections is supposed to end all these north-south needless agitations.

How do we reconcile this nationwide political show of shame, where one section want to pull out, another threatens the other.

As these sections of the nation demonstrate madness and stupidity, the rest of the world celebrate our seven angels who did Nigeria proud.

Before the rest of the world, these seven Nigerian political gladiators are seen and identified as Nigerians, never for once were they identified as folks from Arewa, Ndigbo or Oduduwa nation.

Since the world got wind of their political victory, Nigeria's global image has gained higher political status.

If our national image in the eyes of average Briton is one nation that has human resources that can be judged as one of the best in Africa, it makes no sense to them to hear that such nation is wasting her time fighting over national schism.

We call upon all Nigerians in the nation to join forces at resisting any attempt at breaking up this nation.

There is zero sense in such move, the world will see such move as effort soaked in ignorance, madness and stupidity.

We at Asaba Post News Wire will never be party to such move.

Nigeria is just too big for such needless dreams, what the nation needs now is a stronger sense of national unity, stronger commitment to advance restructuring project of the nation, purpose driven leadership and good governance regime.

The world cannot be creating opportunities and platforms for the global advancement of Nigerians and we back at home, instead of thinking progressively like rest of the world who are gloriously advancing Nigerians worldwide.

We call upon progressive Nigerian youths to step out of their comfort zones, join us in this clarion call to put an end to the ongoing nationwide craze, selling the gospel of dis unity to the nation, we resist all these moves and condemn in strong terms the least appearance of national disunity anywhere anytime in Nigeria.
