ANIOCHA NORTH COUNCILORSHIP CANDIDATE TASK ON SERIOUS CAMPAIGNS


Councilorship candidates in Aniocha North local government for the January 2018 local government election have been charged to campaign with the seriousness it deserves in order to win convincingly in all the 14 Wards across the local government.

The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the area, Prince Victor Egbune, who gave the charge at lssele Uku during the flag off the campaign also appealed to those who lost out during the primary election to put the defeat behind them and work with the candidates to ensure total victory for the party.

Lending his voice also, the member representing Aniocha North in the Delta State House of Assembly, Engineer Emeke Nwaobi, thank all who came out in their numbers to support PDP and appealed to the party faithfuls to come out en- masse and vote for the PDP in order to win with by a wide margin.

Similarly, the Chairman, Delta State Civil Service Commission, Dame Nkem Okwuofu, enjoined the candidates to deliver their wards, saying that the outcome of the Council polls would determine how the House of Assembly and governorship elections in 2019 would be decided.

The councillorship candidates that were presented the party flags included Chiedu Nioagwuani for ward One, Anene Mathew Ward Two, Ekene Eziunor ward Three, Uche Chiejine ward Four, Okolie Alex ward Five, Emma Ofili ward Six and kawekune Philip ward Seven. Others were Ekene Nwaonye Ward Eight, Tony Kido ward Nine, Uwadinma Ofili ward Ten, Okafor Peter Ward Eleven, Jude Maduabuchukwu ward twelve; Mrs Nkechi Bardi ward Thirteen and Edgar Onyeshinye ward Fourteen.
