QUEEN OPONE EMERGES AS NWA-ADA NDOKWA (WORLD)

What’s in a name? In the African setting, names are valued as prophecies about a child’s future and destiny and that has played out in the case with Miss Queen Nkonye Opone; who recently emerged the newly crowned NWA-ADA NDOKWA WORLD at the just concluded sixth (6) Edition of the Nwa-Ada Ndokwa Cultural Beauty Pageant 2017.

Queen Nkonye Opone emerged the overall QUEEN of NDOKWA Worldwide out of twelve (12) finalists who took part at the Grand Finale Event at the Ogbe Travellers Annex Hotel, Kwale on the 27th day of December, 2017. At the keenly contested Pageant Event, Queen Nkonye Opone exhibited all the qualities of a truly groomed Queen. She was first and foremost very humane, humble and soft spoken as well as being reserved, well cultured and gifted.

Queen Nkonye Opone, who represented Utagba Ogbe Community at the Event is nineteen (19) years old and hails from Utagba-Uno in Ndokwa West LGA of Delta State. She is a SSCE holder and runs an entrepreneurial outfit as a Fashion Designer cum Bead maker.

As she steps into the Office of the NWA-ADA NDOKWA WORLD for one year, under the Management of TISOVA RELIEF CONCEPTS, organisers of the Pageant; she is expected to work closely with the NWA-ADA NDOKWA FOUNDATION (Girl-Child Initiative) in executing various programmes and projects in the Ndokwa Community.
