Why we pass vote of confident on Governor –Barr. Nani

Barely two weeks, the Delta House of Assembly passed the vote of non-confident on the Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, over the lackadaisical attitude of contractors handling projects across the state, therefore, adjourned their sitting indefinitely to this end, Deputy majority whip and member representing Ethiope West Constituency Hon. (Barr) John Nani has cleared the reason why the Delta state House of Assembly reversely passed the vote of confidence on the Governor, saying the, Governor Uduaghan hearken to the call by mandating all contractors back to site.

He said our relationship with the Governor is so cordial and he has been demonstrated by doing the right thing” However, the deputy majority whip who his victory was affirmed by National/State House Assembly Election Tribunal recently, said any person who contested for the election has a constitutional right to challenge the outcome of the election especially when the person is not satisfied.

Barr. Nani who in his spirit of sportsmanship appointed one of his opponents Mr. Victor Oghototuya of labour party as his special adviser (SA), saying “politics is nota do or die affair, appointing my opponent was to extend an olive branch as to bring his knowledge and wisdom together to move the constituency forward”.
