Goodluck/Sambo Support Forum (GSF) endorses Jonathan

Communiqué

The GOODLUCK/SAMBO SUPPORT FORUM (GSF), which is an affiliate of the GOODLUCK SUPPORT GROUP (GSG) held its National Summit at the Royal Falls Garden, Wuse, Abuja on Saturday, May 31, 2014. The Summit had as its theme: ‘Goodluck Jonathan – Victory Assured’

The GSF is an assembly of patriotic Nigerians who are verily satisfied with the performance of President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sambo in office, and therefore on their freewill are committed to ensuring that President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sambo is elected back to office in 2015.

The GSF summit took note of the following

• That in the last one year that the organisation has been in existence, offices and chapters of GSF have been opened in all the Wards and all 774 local government areas, and indeed all the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Nigeria and also in the Diaspora.

• That the various chapters have been holding meetings and discussions on modalities for achieving the singular objective which is ensuring that President Goodluck Jonathan returns to office in 2015 and the spreading of the news of the transformation agenda.

• That since President Jonathan assumed office in May 29, 2011, he has demonstrated and excellent understanding of the socio economic problems of Nigeria with the policies he has introduced and the human capital he has used.

• That the success of the Transformation Agenda (in all the sectors) has surpassed the expectations of Nigerians. A singular testimony is the global attestation that Nigeria has achieved the biggest economy status in Africa, as well as the largest investment destination in Africa region.

• The Summit also noted the huge achievements made by President Jonathan’s administration in the areas of job creation, power, agriculture, oil and gas, ICT, youth empowerment, education, good governance, judiciary, aviation, poverty eradication, road infrastructure, etc.

• The Sumit noted with regret the blood-letting activities of the Boko Haram sect, even with their sponsors among who are notable politicians in Nigeria. The summit therefore called on President Jonathan not to relent in his untiring effort to achieve peace in Nigeria, and equally called on Nigerians at home at abroad to support Mr. President’s efforts to secure life and property in Nigeria.

• That all Nigerians should consider President Goodlcuk Jonathan as a man who has delivered on his promises, and who’s Transformation Agenda has indeed transformed the political economy of Nigeria, and therefore the best option for Nigerians as President in 2015.

• As a pro-Jonathan advocacy group, to work harder in the coming months, and in partnership with other like-mined organisations with similar objectives, in order to achieve the objective of ensuring that President Jonathan is returned to office in 2015 to 2019.

• That the GSF will continue to create the needed awareness among Nigerians especially those at the grassroots by providing them with information that will enable them appreciate the excellent performance of President Jonathan.

• The huge impact the social media has on the youth, and resolved to explore other ways to expand the scope and use of the social media by the GSF to promote the achievements of President Jonathan and the need for Nigerians to vote him back to office in 2015.
