Dist.
Senator (Dr). Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, has promised to use the best brains in the
state to run an inclusive administration that will unite rather than divide
Deltans.
Senator Okowa who predicted that he will win the governorship election next month scorned political parties and individuals that are promoting ethnic divisions and bitterness.
Senator Okowa made this known when he paid a condolence visit to Delta State Coordinator of Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria ( TAN ), Prince Ned Nwoko in his country home, in Idumuje-Ugboko, on Friday, on the demise of his son.
Senator Okowa who was accompanied by Chief Peter Nwaoboshi, equally used the opportunity to smoothen his relations with Prince Nwoko caused by the outcome of the 2011 Senatorial election.
Dist. Senator Okowa said Delta State has abundant intellects and talents which he will harness as the governor to transform the social and economic landscape of the state.
In his words “no single individual can claim to know it all and my duty is to identify these brains and talents to get the best for the people and the state”
In his response, Prince Nwoko said that Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria ( TAN ) is committed to mobilising grassroots support for Senator Okowa and President Goodluck Jonathan in the February general elections.
He said TAN has set up state structure to support the Okowa Campaign which is now in full swing.
Prince Nwoko said Senator Okowa has a pan-Delta vision which is what the state needs to build a prosperous future.
