Political Leaders Hail Senator Dr. Okowa

* Assure Zero Electoral Violence

Okonta Emeka Okelum

As the People's Democratic Party(PDP) takes her state-wide campaign to Local Government Areas, Political and Opinion Leaders shared with Asaba Post News-Wire their insights and views.

The campaign train, which journeyed through Oshimili North and Aniocha North Local Government Areas availed Deltans opportunity to demonstrate their support for the party.

Trade unions, political pressure groups, grassroot democratic associations, LGA party officials, community based groups and various local security outfits, who believe in the party, seized the occasion to fly their colors to the admiration of party leadership and campaigning party flag bearers.

Asaba Post New-Wire sought views of political leaders about their impression on Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and how trouble free the electoral period will be like.

Chief Obi Nzeta, PDP Delta North Senatorial Chairman and chairman, Youth mobilization committee of the Delta State PDP campaign organization, in his remarks maintained that the ANIOMA Nation will not record any case of electoral violence.

On Senator Okowa's acceptability in Ndokwa Nation, Chief Nzeta gladly reasoned that Senator Okowa is an Ndokwa Man and Ndokwa Nation is home to him.

Senator Okowa is the people's man, a real grassroot democrat, whose capacity to lead Deltans aright is a sure bet, Chief Nzeta reasoned.

The Delta State PDP Deputy Chairman, Hon. Chief Ighomena Emmanuel when asked about his views on Senator Okowa's personality, bore his mind objectively.

Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is an experienced politician, a detribalized Deltan, whose past antecedents speaks volume and working well for him, what else do we want of such great flag bearer.

Of course, there will be challenges, but I am sure, drawing from his leadership and political experience, Senator Dr. Okowa will surmount all challenges, Hon. Chief Ighomena observed.

Hon Chief Emma Sorokwu, a former LGA Chairman, under the flagship of the PDP, observed that his feelings are that of gratitude over the people's large turn out and an over whelming confidence in the party.

This is an indication that our great party will record great victory at the polls and that there will be zero electoral violence within our council area.

Senator Dr. Okowa is an experienced Democrat, a grassroot politician with a difference.
He will restore our party's lost sanity and better reposition internal party discipline, this he will do well because he has being with the party since inception since 1998 and clearly understood internal party dynamics perfectly than most party members, Hon Sorokwu pointed out.
