One of Delta's son Nwodi Daniel Chinedu has been distinguished at the final graduation ceremony at YALI Regional Leadership Centre, Accra Ghana recently.
Nwodi Daniel Chinedu is the Founder and Executive Director of Students without Borders International which was founded in the year 2006. He has been privileged to have been guest speaker at American Community School, Abu Dhabi, Dubai UAE during the Global Issue Conference (2012); Nigerian International School, Cotonou, Republic of Benin, Pan African Students’ Summit, Accra, Ghana (2010) and at University of Ibadan at the Physiology Students Convention which (16) universities were present.
Daniel was formerly Personnel and Recruitment Manager at Hensmor Nigeria Limited, an Oil and Gas downstream company (2015). He was President, Nigeria Youth Association in Republic of Benin (2009). Daniel is a graduate from Universite D'Abomey Calavi, Republic of Benin and he is member of Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (2014).
In the aspect of awards, Daniel has earned himself lots of awards. He is winner of Rotary Leadership Award, Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) award as recognition of meritorious National Services in Lagos State, Most Active Corp Member in Badagry (2011), Nominated For Future Award Best Use of Advocacy (2010) by Futures Award, National Association of Nigerian Students, Lagos Axis as Africa Patriot (2007), The most outstanding Nigerian Youth in Republic of Benin (2010) by Houdegbe North American University, (MASCOT AWARD).
Well, Young African Leadership Initiative, Regional Leadership Centre (YALI-RLC) wasn't wrong to have picked Daniel as he was one of the 105 young leaders that were selected in West Africa out of 9000 youths that applied in 2015. Daniel is an alumnus of YALI-RLC West Africa.
This Deltan Born who speaks his language can speak English and French language fluently.
He is a graduate of Universite D’Abomey Calavi, Republic of Benin where he obtained Bachelor of Arts in African Literary Studies (Second Class). He could be described as a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to details. Very flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others.
He has passion to train; this passion has helped him to organize conferences, seminars and workshops for youth empowerment and personal development which started at his university days.

Delta Youth as he, alongside his colleagues will be organizing YALI event in
Delta State on December 17, 2016 at the Inspiration Gardens, Event Centre,
Asaba, Delta State by 12–3pm. This will be the maiden edition of the YALI
MEET UP / NETWORKING EVENT.
In a brief he said "We plan doing this project every year. The event is free of charge for outstanding youths in Delta State. We will seek sponsorship from our government, corporate bodies and all interested individual that want to help the younger generation. "This event will create an opportunity for change makers in Delta State and it's environ to meet, learn and network. It is also going to be an awareness program of the YALI West Africa Recruitment process with potentials of delta youths becoming the next Young Africans Leaders Initiative, Regional Leadership Centre, fellow at Accra, Ghana. This event will create an avenue to meet with the YALI-RLC Ambassadors and Alumni where they will share their experience to the Delta youths" he noted.
In his explanation, Daniel said Young Africans Leaders Initiative (YALI) is a signature effort launched by the President of the United States of American, Barack Obama to invest in the next generation of African Leaders by supporting young Africans to spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, enhance peace and security, civil leadership, entrepreneurship and public management across Africa. Daniel, final graduated from YALI Regional Leadership Centre, Accra, Ghana where he was well trained on civic society and leadership after the 5 weeks training at GIMPA Campus, Accra, Ghana and he has done various community projects and mentoring of younger generation.
