Esiso, Obusom Receive Decamped PDP Members

·         As Esiso Lauds Obusom’s grassroot Development Stride

Olorogu Barr Kingsley Esiso, Delta State Chapter Chairman, People’s Democratic Party and Council Chairman, Oshimili South LGA, Barr. Chuks John Obusom, today received formerly decamped members of the party back into the party.

The decampees were received today, when the state party chairman visited the council area on a familiarization tour of each of the state’s 25 LGA.

According to our source, the tour was designed to enable grassroot members of the party to meet and interact with the state executive leadership of the party.

Our source also shared, the event availed grassroot party faithfuls in Oshimili South LGA, opportunity to certify that their LGA party and ward exco leadership are authentic. 

Receiving the decamped members back into the party, the party’s state chairman observed that it is a welcome development for the party in the council area.

A popular grassroot political actor in Oshimili South LGA, Comrade Chiadika Ogosi Freeman, led the returning decampees back to the PDP.

The leader of the returning party members, was before now the Delta state chairman of United People’s Party (UPP), he also returned with members of his state and LGA leadership.

Comrade Freeman led close to three hundred decampees back to the PDP.

According to our source at the state’s Art and Culture pavilions, venue of the event, it was reported that Comrade Freeman also sought and got the commitment of other political party members, who joined his home coming to the PDP.

The visibly elated council chairman in a media chat with journalists observed that he is humbled by the decampees return to the PDP.

They are completely welcome back into the political fellowship of the party again, Barr Obusom pointed out.

Earlier, at the office of the council boss, the state party chairman was received upon arrival by Barr. Obusom, his executive officers, councillors and top management staff of the council.

Responding to the warm reception Barr Obusom larvished him with, the state party chairman, noted that he is aware about the grassroot focused development strides of the Barr Obusom Led administration.

Addressing the colourful and well attended event by party members, the state party chairman, applauded the council boss leadershi and the Dada Okonji led-executive over the well organized function.

The PDP State Chairman, Olorogu Barr Kingsley Esiso, was reported to have stated that the recently unveiled grassroot driven harvests of projects, by the Barr Obusom’s administration as well as the return of party decampees suggest that his leadership is working positively.

Ogbueshi Dada Okonji, Oshimili South party LGA Chairman, while welcoming the decampees, encouraged them to seek meaningful avenues at supporting the party’s grassroot leadership.

Mr Tobechukwu Okonkwo and other well spirited cum endowed party members supported and demonstrated rich benevolent & hospitality dispositions of the council area to the visitor.
