Easter: Love And Sacrifice, Key to Peaceful Coexistence - Igwete of Amai kingdom



The Igwete of Amai kingdom His Royal Majesty Eze Paul Solomon Ifeneziuche has felicitated with Christians as they celebrate this year's Easter. He urged them to continue to live in peace and exhibit love for one another irrespective of places of origin for the sake of the society.

In the monarch Easter message to Christians which was made available on Sunday through his Chief Press Secretary, Cyprian C. Odifili, the monarch reminded Christians that the  greatest legacy Jesus Christ left on earth is the legacy of love and sacrifice. 

The monarch noted that the best way Christians can carry on that legacy is to fulfill their obligations to the society and respect those in authorities as the Bible commanded, adding that only God gives Authority.

The Igwete of Amai kingdom urged Christians in Amai kingdom to continue to pray for the kingdom for God to complete the good works he has started to enable the kingdom become more prosperous since she has achieved the peace.

"To effectively reposition our kingdom in the path of development/transformation, the palace in partnership with the Government at the local and state level will continue to work diligently to ensure the peace we've achieved remains".

The monarch said Amai kingdom requires abundance of love and sacrifice to maintain the harmonious and peaceful coexistence they've achieved with their neighbours.

His Royal Majesty Eze Paul Solomon Ifeneziuche further said that Christians should continue to uphold their faith in God despite the seeming challenges confronting the Nation's economy and Security, which he said will soon become a thing of the past.

The monarch appreciated the Christian Association of Amai (CAA) for the sacrifices they pay on daily bases for the advancement of the kingdom and the Christian faith. The monarch on behalf of Amai Traditional Ruler Council and the entire good people of Amai kingdom wished Christians across the world a happy and blissful Easter celebration.
