The former Vice President of Nigeria and a presidential aspirant in the 2011 polls, Atiku Abubakar in a direct message to President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday said "those who make peaceful change impossible, make violent change inevitable..." Apparently, he was trying to warn the President against contesting the PDP primaries in accordance with their "zoning" brouhaha.
Now the question is, what is he insinuating by making such unguided utterances? Is he saying that if he doesn't emerge as the PDP preferred candidate, he is going to promote violence just to have his wish at all cost?
I don't understand the rationale for such a statement, but for discerning minds we can now easily tell those who instigate violence in dis country. God will surely frustrate their token...Our prayer is that those who wish violence for this nation will themselves not know peace! Those who have over the years derived pleasure in spilling the blood of innocent Nigerians just to achieve their selfish goals, will henceforth swim in their own bloods...
What's your reaction to this statement by the ex-VP?
