MAJOROH ENJOINS THE PUBLIC TO EMBRACE PERSONAL HYGIENE

The general public have been advised to embrace personal hygiene in order to avoid cholera and other communicable diseases.
The advice was given by the permanent secretary, Delta State HealthCare Development Agency, Dr Tobi Majoroh.

He said that diseases could be avoided by keeping good personal and environmental hygiene and boiling of water from any doubtful source before drinking.

Dr Majoroh added that washing of hands with soap and water before and after any activity is a good practice towards avoiding cholera.
He urged people to report any unusual health symptoms to the nearest health facility in the state.
