Jitters and unease rocks Senator Dino Melaye’s Camp

The camp of embattled Senator representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye is going though rough times at the moment. Many of his aides are being placed under surveillance, restrictions and subjected to serious scrutiny, having their loyalty and integrity questioned.

E-Reporter News reliably gathered that, his S.A on Administration, Ahmed Yackson Ahmed is the worst hit, being a relation to Hon. Taofik Isah, the Ijumu Local Government Area Administrator. His mobile phone was seized for over three days to monitor calls and messages that come in, while the senator banned all his aides from accessing his living room, but can hang around the compound for fear of leaking vital Intel and information to his detractors.

These acts may be unconnected to the release of a video, where a rattled Senator Dino Melaye was making a press statement with his hands shaky and voice incoherent. At the end of the video, the Senator got confused stuttering the name Hon. Bala repeatedly then slamming the papers on the table, raising his hands in surrender. That video was not supposed to be released, hence the need to censor who comes in and out of his living room.

Senator Dino Melaye, senator representing Kogi west who has been locked in a feud with the Governor of Kogi state and his Chief of staff has not been finding it funny of late due to the recall process initiated by his constituency.

Last week, his constituency submitted compiled signatures of voters from Kogi west to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to initiate the recall process, an act Senator Dino Melaye called laughable because according to him, the signatures were forged signatures.

However, since Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) issued a press release acknowledging the receipt of the signatures and specifying dates when the process of recall would officially kick started, Senator Dino Melaye’s headed straight to the court in a bid to stop the process, while his combative tone has greatly reduced in numerous articles released from his media team.

E-Reporter News also gathered from reliable source that the embattled senator has hired the services of three youth from Kogi to boost his array of writers, who keeps churning out various emotional articles, with the intent of possibly winning the sympathy and apathy of the public.

However, in a couple of days to come, we shall know the outcome of the recall process.
