5,000 Ika North East APC Members Decamp To PDP

The All Progressive Congress  ( APC)  has emptied into the state ruling party People's Democratic Party as over 5000 of the APC  decamped  to the PDP in Ika North East local government area.

The decampees led by APC chieftain Comrade Ebenezer Obiazorkwo and other seven APC ward chairmen in Ika North East was received by the state governor Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa  during a PDP meeting held at Ute Okpu .

The decampees numbering over 5000 ,  Comrade Ebenezer said mark the final death of their former party in the local government area , as collectively he noted the people has decided to follow light , truth and the state governor who has showed leadership style that has brought peace , unity and development across the state.

He alongside other ward leaders assured the state governor of their total loyalty and a promised never to return to Egypt in their political journey

The state governor while receiving them assured them that they have made the best decision and that PDP will ensure everyone  is given the same treatment and operate at the same playing ground..

The governor assured Deltans of more dividends of democracy , saying that more will be coming to Deltans in 2018 , tasking the people of sustenance of  support.
