Isioma Okobah Foundation/05 Initiative offer free medical care to inmates of Agbor Prison

  The 05 Initiative in partnership with the Isioma Okobah Foundation, yesterday rounded up the free medical care to inmates across the various federal prisons in the state with a visit to Agbor Prison.

  Speaking before the commencement of the exercise, the wife of the executive governor of Delta State, Dame Edith Okowa, admonished the inmates to see the time they are in prison as a learning and rehabilitation periods,stressing God in His infinite mercy has not forgotten anyone he created.

 She enjoined them to embrace God wholeheartedly and they should not be weighed down with their current travails in life.

While wishing the inmates happy Yuletide celebrations, she poured encomiums on the Executive Assistant to the governor, on E-Health and Chairman, Delta State Primary Health Care,Dr Mrs Isioma Okobah, describing as a woman with a heart of gold.

The First Lady thanked Okobah for her free medical care to Deltans, particularly to the downtrodden in the society,urging her to keep up the good work.

  During the exercise patients were diagnosed and treated freely. Medical advise and drugs, including, medicated eye glasses were given freely.
