UDUAGHAN COMMENDED ON HUMAN CAPITAL, INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVT.



The Delta state Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has been commended for all the achievements recorded so far in the human capital and infrastructural development across the state.
The commendation was given at Okpanam in Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state by a Lagos based banker, Mr. Felix Ideh during the funeral ceremony held in honour of the late Mrs. Philomena Nwauka Obiannwuali Ideh.

He stated that much were needed to be done in the areas of peace and security adding that government should ensure that the dividends of democracy were delivered to the people at the grass-root.

Mr. Ideh appealed to government to come to the rescue of Okpanam community in the area of flood control, stressing that whenever it rained, the people were often threatened of erosion, just as he called for the dualization of the link road between Okpanam and Asaba.

The Banker decried the security challenges posed by the Islamic religious sect otherwise known as Boko-haram.

On her part, a retired Matron Director in Nursing Services, Primary Health Care Department of Oshimili South Local Government Area, Mrs. Patricia Ideh enjoined the children of the diseased to emulate the virtues of their mother whom she said was upright.

Mrs. Ideh used the occasion to appeal to Delta state government to create more jobs for the teaming youths in the state, adding that through employment generation for them, the issue of youths’ indulgence in crime would be addressed.

A Legal Practitioner, who is the brother of the diseased, Barr. J. N. Onochie, Okologbo Christopher as well as Jude Ideh called on the children of Mrs Philomena Obiannwuali Ideh to build on the legacy their mother left behind.

They   said that the diseased was a woman that shared the problems of the people around  her, saying that they should  replicate the prefect role of their parents while on earth.
