EXIT PETER; ENTER NED: PRINCE NED NWOKO IS OUR SENATOR ELECT!

My attention was yesterday drawn to a press conference organized by the incumbent senator representing DELTA NORTH senatorial district where he addressed issues as it relates to the wednesday judgment of the federal high court Abuja delivered by Justice A.R Mohamed, which declared my principal, Hon. Prince Ned Munir Nwoko as the rightful winner of the October 2 2018 people's democratic party primaries for the delta north senatorial district.

Ordinarily there wouldn't have been any need to respond, but reading through the uninformed comments and watery analysis made across various social media platforms by members of the senator's media team and their sympathizers, it has become imperative for proper clarification, especially for the millions of delta northerners who stood firm and prayed for the Prince to reclaim his MANDATE.

Firstly, the judgment was clear enough for every lay man without any prior judicial knowledge to understand that with Prince Ned Nwoko declared as the RIGHTFUL WINNER of the party primaries, he automatically inherits the total number of votes the party secured at the February 23 2019 senatorial elections.

Before making any further clarification, It's pertinent to state here that, delta north electorates were in the know of the suit filed by my Principal, challenging the illegality which led to the incumbent being declared winner of the party primaries, with this in mind, they voted for the PDP as a party, as such now that a court of competent jurisdiction has declared Prince Ned Nwoko as the original flag bearer of the party, all votes casted in favour of the PDP belongs to Ned.

In juxtaposing the judgment with other court precedent set already, the case between Celestine Omehia and Rotimi Ameachi (both of the PDP) over who was the rightful candidate of the party for the River state governorship election of 2007 easily comes to mind, but there are very recent happenings.

In the just concluded senatorial election, the APC won the Bauchi South Senatorial district without a candidate, in declaring the APC winner of the elections the state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Ibrahim Abdullahi, stated in very clear terms that it was the APC that won in the election and not the candidate, note it loudly: THE APC WON THE ELECTION!

Again, in the case between Isaac Edoja and Jenkins Eduvie both of the then Democratic People's Party, upon the declaration of Jenkins as the rightful winner of the party primaries, he was subsequently sworn in as the member representing Ughelli North constituency 2, with Edoja directed to refund every benefit accrued to the office for the almost three years he benefited from the stolen mandate.

Again, the case of Kogi State comes to mind too, when the governor elect Prince Abubakar Audu passed away (may his soul continue to rest in peace), Yahaya Bello who at no time participated in the electoral process, inherited the victory by the virtue of being the runner up to Prince Audu during the party primaries, it was so because the votes belongs to the party.

In summarizing the above, it's very clear to see that our elections are party based, our elctoral act doesn't support independent candidacy.

So therefore for those going to town with the news that the STAR PRINCE of ANIOMA will not be sworn in as our next senator are not only being economical with the truth, they are only deceiving themselves, the only way that will happen is if and only if the court of appeal up turns the high court judgment, and that itself is 101 percent unlikely given the evidences we presented in court.

Talking about appeal, with how the  Senator and members of his team easily dismissed the judgment as having no loco standi, one would think they will be unruffled, alas I begin to wonder how a man begs for leniency over a crime he didn't commit, or have you seen someone treat an ailment he doesn't suffer from? The judgment is un-usable yet they are currently putting together an appeal, how ironic!

Finally it's worth pointing out that, had we lost the case, had the judgment favoured our opponent, the same case they arrogantly dismissed, same victory they would have been all over town celebrating now, but hey guys victory is ours so allow us celebrate anyhow we want.

The verdict is simple: PRINCE NED NWOKO is our SENATOR ELECT and the outburst of joy, excitement and euphoria that has gripped the entire north of delta is a clear indicator of how much the people crave for the Prince!

Rescue Anioma Mission: ACTIVATED!

Exit Peter; ENTER NED!

I remain yours sincerely IDI PRESLEY IFEANYICHUKWU (SNR. COMR).
