Warri Wolves Poised for Victory in NNL Opener

Warri Wolves are set to hit the ground running with a resounding victory against Ibom Youths on Matchday 1 of the 2018/2019 Nigeria National League,NNL, campaign.

The oil city based club are drawn in Group B4 of the campaign with Crown FC, Ibom Youths, Word of Life FC, and Lamray FC.

Speaking ahead of the season's opener on Wednesday, April 10, head coach, Tajudeen Lamidi, said the seasiders are ready to take the three points at stake.

Lamidi stated that the team would not underrate Ibom Youths, saying that they would approach the tie like a cup final.

"We want only three points," said Coach Tajudeen Lamidi." We are ready to take the three points at stake."

"I have heard about them. We will not take for granted or underrate them. We see the game like the Aiteo Cup final".

Coach Lamidi noted that the ultimate aim of the team is to secure the promotion ticket to the top flight.

Warri Wolves will kick off their campaign against Ibom Youths on Wednesday at the the Warri City Stadium by 4pm.
