"We shall be having only one Mass in the morning on that day; 8 am Mass and we believe that all our Parishioners, and the friends of our Church will be accommodated in the new Church; we thank His Lordship, Most Rev. Michael Odogwu and all the Priests of the Catholic Church, especially those who served in St. John Bosco who laid the foundation upon which we are building on for their contributions to the growth of the Church; procession shall commence at NECAB junction and move to the new Church, because, it is Palm Sunday, a day of celebration, only one Mass in the morning and all Parishioners are expected to come out with fresh palm leaves," the Priest said.

Earlier in his homily, the Priest in residence at the Church, Rev. Fr. Anthony Azuwike had stated that prayers of Christians has continued to work in Nigeria which has made the country to remain as one despite all efforts to cause confusion that could lead to the break up of the country.

Fr. Azuwike urged Catholics in particular to remain resolute in their prayers to God, believe in God and avoid occasions of sin, noting that it was important and compulsory for all Catholics to go for confession during the Lenten season and also reconcile with real and perceived enemies.
