INVITATION TO SUBMIT BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION OF MINI SOLAR POWERED WATER PROJECTS AND CONSTRUCTION OF ECOSAN TOILET FACILITITES IN FOUR (4) COMMUNITIES IN DELTA STATE Grant Contract: FED/2017/390-471 Title of the Grant Contract: INTEGRATED WATER, SANITATION & HYGIENE PROJECT The Leadership Initiative for Transformation and Empowerment (LITE-Africa), a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Warri, Delta State, with funding from the European Union (EU) is implementing the Integrated Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (i-WASH) action in two (2) LGAs – Ndokwa West and Isoko South in Delta state. Consequently, LITE-Africa is hereby inviting interested competent and reputable companies with proven capacity to submit bids for the construction, rehabilitation of Water Projects and Construction of ECOSAN Toilets facilities in the two LGAs PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is broken into Six (6) lots of; Lot 1: Construction of a mini Solar Powered Water Project at Igbide Community in Isoko South LGA Lot 2: Construction of ECOSAN Toilet at Igbide Grammar School Igbide in Isoko South LGA Lot 3: Rehabilitation of Existing Mini Solar Powered Water Project at Uzere Community in Isoko South LGA Lot 4: Construction of ECOSAN Toilet at Emu-uno Secondary School in Ndokwa West LGA. Lot 5: Rehabilitation of Existing Mini Solar Powered Water Project at Ogbe-ani Community Lot 6: Construction of a Mini Solar Powered Water Project at Emu-uno Community in Ndokwa West LGA ELIGIBILITY AND TECHNICAL BID EVALUATION: • Companies domicile and registered in Nigeria • Evidence of similar work or projects executed within the past three (3) years. Execution of similar job with EU funding will be an added advantage • Evidence of Current Tax Clearance • Three (3) year Audited Accounts of Company • Evidence of qualified technical Staff • Demonstrate ability to work with local community indigenes • HSE Policy FINANCIAL BID: The financial bid shall include detailed rates of all work items to be expended based on scope of work COLLECTION OF BIDDING DOCUMENT Upon confirmation of interest, request for bids document, should be made online via www.lite-africa.org. While bids will be submitted in hard copies at LITE-Africa’s corporate office. Bidders are expected to cover the cost of bid. MODE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS The bids for each lot are to be submitted as follows: i) Three hard copies of Company’s profile with eligibility and bid documents and one soft copy of same enclosed in a sealed foolscap envelope marked TECHNICAL BID on the top left corner and addressed as directed below. ii) Three hard copies of financial bid (tender) and one soft copy of same enclosed in a separate sealed foolscap envelope marked FINANCIAL BID on top left corner and addressed as below Note: One envelope for each lot. Submission of all tenders shall close on 8th April, 2019. Kindly pick up your bid package and submit your bid documents between the hours of 9am and 4pm OPENINGS/EVALUATION OF BIDS Opening of the bids shall commence at 12 noon on the 9TH April, 2019 being the next day after closure of receipt of submissions at the LITE-Africa’s Corporate Office NOTE: Bids submitted late or brought open shall not be accepted. You are required to sign the register during submission and obtain a slip. This invitation to bid tender shall not be construed as a commitment or offer of job by LITE-Africa or guarantee the selection of any applicant as contractor to the project, or shall it entitle respondents to make any claim whatsoever, and/or seek any compensation for expenses incurred by virtue of having responded to this invitation.
