Okowa hails Esiso, Nzete on their birthday

Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on Sunday felicitated with Delta State Chairman and State Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Olorogun Kingsley Esiso and Chief Goddey Obi Nzete on the occasion of their birthday anniversary on Sunday February 4, 2018.

In a goodwill message by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Charles Aniagwu, Governor Okowa said; Esiso and Nzete had every cause to celebrate and thank God Almighty for His benevolence on the joyful occasion of their birthday anniversary.

While congratulating the two leaders of the PDP in the state, the Governor maintained that the sterling contributions of Esiso and Nzete to the development of the party in the state is commendable and urged them to promote ideals that will further unite the party, settle internal wranglings, ensure internal democracy and party discipline at all times.

"As leaders of our great party in the state, you have shown dexterity and capacity to lead our party to more electoral victories in the future, this you aptly demonstrated when you led our party to total victory in the just concluded Local Government Council elections in the state.

The Governor charged the leaders to promote ideals that will further unify the party and settle internal wrangling, ensure internal democracy and party discipline at all times as they are the prerequisites for consolidation of party democracy.

“On behalf of my family, the Government and people of Delta State, I congratulate you and pray that Almighty God continues to strengthen, guide and prosper you,” adding “As you deservedly celebrate this anniversary, it is my prayer that Almighty God continues to bless you with robust health and many more years of happiness.

“I join your families, friends, well-wishers and party faithful to thank Almighty God for His continued guidance, protection and provision for you in the past years of a life of forthrightness and outstanding patriotism with which He has blessed you both."

According to Aniagwu, the Governor wishes the State Chairman and Secretary, a happy birthday celebration and prays that God Almighty grant them many more years of good health and strength to continue with their devotion to making the PDP the party of choice in Delta State.
