OSHIMILI NORTH LIAISON OFFICERS HOSTED THE DELTA NORTH SENATORIAL SUPERVISOR ON SPECIAL PROJECTS/E.A POLITICAL TO GOVERNOR OKOWA ,DR EMMANUEL MAFIANA.




The Community Liaison Officers in Oshimili North being Coordinated by Hon P.C Ajoh,S.A to the Governor on Community Liaison matters yesterday at their meeting @ Pino Bar and Restaurant in Okpanam received Dr Mafiana,EA Political to Governor Okowa/Delta North Supervisor on special projects who came on a working visit.

Hon Ajoh after joyously welcoming the August visitor,briefed him on the activities of CLOs in Oshimili North LGA which includes basically bridging the gap between the government and the people and also serving as eyes and ears of the Government in various communities of the LGA.

Dr Mafiana in his address tasked the CLOs to be up and doing in duties,especially now that we have entered the electioneering year,he further educated them on their job description which includes: identifying the needs of the community and bringing it to attention of government, interfacing with critical stakeholders,monitoring of Government Projects in their communities to ensure quality assurance, countering destructive criticisms against the government, informing their people on Governor Okowa's policies and programmes in the areas of youth empowerment,road road construction and the new widows social welfare scheme amongst other strides of Governor Okowa's led administration.

Hon Aniemeka Pino speaking on behalf of the CLOs thanked Dr Mafiana for the visit and pledged to work tirelessly to discharge their duties and also put every effort in delivering Governor in 2019.

The highpoint of the visit was the interaction session which gave the CLOs opportunity to state their challenges and ask questions,while Dr Mafiana and Hon Ajoh took time to proffer solutions and answered their questions satisfactorily.

The lively meeting came to a climax with Dr Mafiana and the CLOs commending Hon Ajoh's leadership prowess in Coordinating ONLGA effectively.

Mr Odogwu gave the vote of thanks and the meeting ended with refreshments before the departure of the guest.
